Delicious

I usually associated food with Delicious. I spent some time trying to make the connection between the web site and the name. This is why I need more time than others to complete some tasks...you can ask my wife about that.

It is still early in the Bookmarking experience. I put together some common web sites that I use on a regular basis for personal reasons. I am going to work on putting in my work and school (Grad Class) purposes.

I think my most confusing part of this is going to be in remembering all of the different sign in's and passwords.

My Delicious name is jameholt. Look me up!

Tagging

I am going to need a little help on this one. I feel like I should be writing a cost on a sticker and getting ready for the garage sale. I will see you tomorrow Alicia!!

Lead, Follow, or get out of the way.

So far I have decided to follow Kevin Coleman(except he is fast on his bike), Troy Gobble (He will tell you that I have a crush on him, maybe), Tim Scanlon (Beer Wars, I need to know more), Jim Franko (I am waiting to hear what he has to say), and also Kevin Turk (Star Wars). Last but certainly not least, I will also be following the fabulous Ms. Waldock. It is obvious that a person with such creativity, good things must be from the Land of 10,000 Lakes! Win Twins...Go Vikes! Joe Mauer, MVP- Brett Favre.....

Nature Deficit Disorder

I came across this video while I was looking up a video about wetlands when I came across this video. This video hit home for me. It reminds me of my childhood, and also what I hope the SEE Team will prevent. Children have become disconnected from the natural world. From this experience, I hope that I can use technology to help connect to children and remind them to take some time to get outside.

While you may not have time to watch the video in its entirety, the message is to remind people to get children outside and remind them of the importance and significance of the natural world.

Intro

I am excited and nervous about this adventure. I am very excited to learn more about utilizing technology, but my lack of experience and confidence with technology keeps me from trying. I am pretty much a hillbilly with little technology exposure. I am really hoping that I can gain alot from this experience.
